Renovation of the plaster on an existing pool can take place in one of two ways, Strip preparation or Multicoat preparation, depending on the condition of the existing plaster.
Strip Preparation Multicoat Preparation

Strip Preparation

Strip preparation is one of two ways to prepare the pool for replaster. Here the old plaster is stripped away using jackhammers.

Multicoat Preparation

Multicoat preparation is the other way of preparing the pool to be replastered. Here a thin bonding surface is applied to the existing plaster which allows new plaster to adhere to the old. Multicoat can be used in preparation to replaster up to 3 times before the pool must be stripped in order to be replastered.

Multicoat Preparation

Multicoat preparation can be used on residential or commercial pools. Multicoat preparation comes with a 5 year bonding warranty.
